The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has been working tirelessly to intercept these shipments, but the illegal market remains a significant concern. Erectile dysfunction medicines are among the most frequently seized illegally traded medicines in the UK, with yearly seizures more than doubling since 2022.
