Broadridge's Shareholder Disclosure Hub Moves to AWS, Expanding Reach, Reliability, and Security
A boost in performance and scalability accompanied by broader multi-regional access and faster innovation for clients
, /PRNewswire/ -- Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR), a global fintech leader, today announced a major milestone in its Global Proxy modernization initiative: the Shareholder Disclosure Hub (SDH) has migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This transition strengthens the platform’s resilience, speed, and security while widening its geographic footprint to include Singapore and South Africa, spanning the EMEA and APAC regions.
"This substantial investment in our proxy and shareholder disclosure infrastructure, powered by AWS, delivers heightened security, resilience, and operational efficiency for our clients," stated Demi Derem, SVP, Investor Communications Solutions International at Broadridge. "We remain dedicated to ongoing innovation and delivering value to clients, ensuring our solutions adapt to the evolving needs of global capital markets while providing a robust, scalable foundation to support shareholder transparency mandates worldwide."
The AWS migration marks a comprehensive re-engineering of the SDH platform. The cloud-native design yields notable gains in performance, stability, scalability, and security, drawing on multiple AWS Regions and Broadridge’s Managed Cloud Architecture Standards, which carry Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) STAR Level 2 certification.
These improvements further simplify operations for market participants by enabling shareholder disclosure compliance across all SRD II markets in the European Economic Area (EEA), as well as Australia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the newly added markets of Singapore and South Africa. This unified, expanded solution helps institutional investors, intermediaries, and issuers meet regulatory disclosure obligations across multiple jurisdictions efficiently and securely, strengthening transparency and promoting broader shareholder participation.
