Bayern Munich staged a comeback to defeat Sporting CP 3-1 at the Allianz Arena, extending their unbeaten home run in this competition to 35 matches.

The decisive moment arrived when Dayot Tah converted from close range to seal the win as Der Rekordmeister climbed level with Arsenal at the top of the group standings, though Bayern sit second on goal difference.
